Fanfiction Commission Guidelines

Please read thoroughly.

I draw my inspiration from and reference the pre-DCnU comics. My strengths lie in the DCU, primarily within the Bat family. I am also a fan of (and will gladly write) supers and speedsters. I have no problem writing outside of these families, but it is up to the commissioner to provide a specific comic run for me to reference so that I can learn the characters. For example, if you would like me to write Oliver Queen as a main character, please have a specific run of Green Arrow (or another book) for me to look up so that I can do him justice.

I write gay slash (both m/m and f/f) both domestic and intimate. It’s what I’m good at. I also write close friendships and camaraderie and adventures. I do not write heterosexual sex, but I have no problem doing straight friendships.

Commissions are completed in the order that they are solidified and may take several months to complete.  If you have something time-sensitive (like you’re commissioning a fic as a gift for someone) I need to know immediately. In these circumstances, I am willing to work with you and potentially move you ahead in queue.  Click here to see my current queue and get an idea of wait time.

I will write nearly anything that falls within my previously stated guidelines.  I have no problem writing graphic sex, fetishes, and kinks—there’s very little I hold taboo. I very much enjoy writing humourous and domestic situations. Combining all three is one of my favourite things. ;)

Prices are based on word count. The more words you pay for, the more complex and detailed you are allowed to be.

I am no longer accepting 1000 word commissions. Commissions start at 2000 words and increase in increments of 500.

Price is firm - $10 per 1,000 words

* 1st tier: 2,000 – 3,000 words

Pairing, setting, mood and one sentence describing what you want.

* 2nd tier: 4,000 – 8,000 words

Pairing, setting, mood, and scenario. Also, the option of a group situation with additional characters of your choice. Like poker. Beach party. Camping. Charity event. Justice League meeting.

* 3rd tier: 10,000+ words AKA multiple chapter fiction

All of the above, and then some. Also, the option of secondary couples.

I reserve the right to refuse any commissions that I feel I cannot complete to your satisfaction due to my own limitations. Also, payment through Paypal is preferred.

Commissions may be kept private if desired. Otherwise all work will be posted publicly to my website, LiveJournal, and Tumblr.
